I think of Savannah, Ga every time I hear this song. Not so much because of the video, but when I went on a Youth mission trip, we played this in our room. Got us some good vibes that got us through running a week long summer camp for less fortunate kids. It was a total blast, but a good song to raise your spirits, can make all the difference. Haha man i dont wanna bring yiu down or bring any negativity here so i hope what i say doesnt do that but man the grateful dead would be hard pressed to fall anywhere near THE Dave Matthews Band. The Grateful Dead in all seriousness was used by the CIA to distribute and study LSD which now may seem rad but its not rad when you get dosed with something without your knowing then studied just for the governments log books. Plus these guys are all much more talented musicians. Maybe im just jaded by the dead in the fact that they would go on long jams where the band wohld would be so out of whack and not put together they would sound like a cluster fuck only for jerry or someone else to finally snap them out of it and pull them back to reality. These guys... if they did that... id have to question myself if even that wasnt part of the show! Ive seen DMB 37 times and the grateful dead 3 times... one of them i snuck in on a catering/food truck but thats a whole other story... idk how old you are but brother... Dave and his crew are head and shoulders above almost all others and im no superfan im just a musician and as they say "real recognize real"

I enjoy Stay by Dave Matthews Band because of it appearing to be simply a positive happy song about making the best out of where you currently are regardless of how long you plan to be in that particular place (this song appears to be about staying in a particular location but I take it to also mean other things such as maybe stay as it pertains to personal goals etc.).
