Hoffman and Mirra both the best riders ever but I will say not the smoothest riders they went just big. Saw Hoffman in NY when he was 14 or 15 in an AFA and they had the practice runs the day before. Hoffman crashed in practice a bunch of times just there doing regular airs. So there lies a difference between these guys and a Brian Blyther who was as smooth every air as could be. I will say I doubt even Brian could be smooth going as high as Mirra is here though. I mean it's just common sense the more you go out of a ramp the more you'd not be able to control it. Just my 2 cents and RIP Dave Mirra terrible tragedy and the world would be and BMX would be better with you still here.

Matt Hoffman went 23 1/2 feet ten years earlier dave barely went 19 here and Matt's ramp was a piece of shit he built himself

Who cares? Mirra could have beat Hoffmans record if he wanted to but he just let it go. That shows the humble nature so many people describe him as having. Why would you even mention it at a time when others are paying Mirra his respects here?
