If the 572 is iron block/aluminum heads, say 700 lbs. Add another 250-300 lbs for the blowers, all in 1000 lbs or so. So basically a Duramax in the nose.

The quad rotor induces way less drag than an equivalent Roots blower.

@ The good Roots blowers have teflon vanes at the apexes that seal them and induce a fair bit of drag. It takes more than a healthy SBC makes just to turn a TF supercharger. Whipples don’t have those vanes.
