I don't usually get upset over a celebrity passing away, but Dave felt like a real person no fake persona just a down to earth bloke, gonna miss the hairy bikers.

Two guys who worked and met😢 at the BBC. Neither of them are qualified chefs but discovered while working at the Beeb they both had a passion for food and cooking. The Hairy Bikers were born. The rest is history. R.I.P Dave Myers

My Son passed away November 2023 38 years old Idolised these two he was disabled and loved cooking vids but could not manage to cook so i hope he meets up with Dave to teach him.

Bless Dave and Si have a book of theirs I love using. I will but this book in honour of Dave a lovely down to earth personality along with Si they made cooking a joy to watch. Condolences to Lil and the children. RIP Dave 🙏🕯️

Always remember seeing their cookbooks occupying shelves and liking both whenever they were on the television. Dave did this thing and got to do it at a high-level travelling the world. Sad but a life well-lived.

Yes Daves passing has really upset me so much that I can't watch anything about him at the moment. My condolences go out to his family and of course Si. Xxx

Hearing Dave had passed was like hearing a mate from work or down the pub had gone. Never knew him personally but he was a great communicator and I don't think he had a bad bone in his body. RIP.
