I am so thankful for CHM. We didn't have to submit for medical cost sharing until recently (after my son broke his wrist and needed surgery). Just uploaded a video testimony sharing how we ONLY have to pay $1,299 out of a nearly $40,000 bill. I love them!

How did you have to pay that much? I'm looking into it and I thought you have to pay the first $500? Still researching, so I'm just curious because that's not the way I understood it.

I love CHM. It's paid 100% for the births of our 2 children (we have the Brother's Keeper option). The key is that you need to plan ahead for medical payments so that you don't pay any interest...and keep track of the paperwork.

I’m looking into this to use with future births. I have insurance through my husbands employer but we still owed almost $10,000 out of pocket ourselves from our last birth so if I can use this with insurance too it would be great and we would still save money! I’m scared of signing of for something like this and giving so much money to a company/system I hadn’t heard of but do you think it’s worth it to enroll if you’re planning on getting pregnant?

Can you have this on top of insurance through an employer as well? I have insurance through my husband’s employer but we want to have more children later and I know from having our first child, the financial burden that comes with prenatal care, hospital, and anesthesiologist bills.
