Although I’ve been conservative and believer my entire life and saw through the liberal thought process long time ago I always liked Maher. Respected his position and lately I’m liking him a lot more cause he’s bridging a gap to the center which is the best for all regardless of political opinions

@@J0N_ We do not have a state religion and as far as I know, that's never been suggested by anyone. That is what the separation of church and state In the Constitution pertains to. It's not about keeping religion out of schools, govt or anything else like many people think I do not know any Republicans that are against gay marriage or pot. I've never known a person, L, R or I, that didn't support the national parks or maintaining infrastructure. That sounds like propaganda but that's basically what the media has been doing for the last 9 years since the law against it was overturned.

I think this conversation was not only a beautiful thing to witness, but I also think it is so important for all of us to see that we can disagree and still find plenty of common ground so that we can get on, without going to war with each other. Tribalism is part of our genetic makeup, it probably exists for good reason, but we need to think about how we can make our rivalries more friendly and not make them feel like some kind of zero sum game that means we have to hate each other. Good work, guys.
