Dave really enjoys this one a lot, even though he has no idea what the name of the song is until the end. I think he gets a little miffed with ‪@alterbridgeofficial‬ because the name of the song wasn't on the graphic. But don't worry it doesn't change the way he feels about them =)

Every repeat listen of this song is further cementing it for me as one of the greatest of Alter Bridge's works. I love absolutely everything about it. For the band to have written Blackbird, which many consider to be the opus of a career and go on to write Fable of the Silent Son 15 years later blows my mind. Exceptional songwriting.

Great reaction. Great vocals in this. Dave putting himself in the shoes of someone in the 1600s hearing Alterbridge for the first time was a real treat. Acousticky and shreddy too.
