Mark Tremonti is an absolute powerhouse of a songwriter and musician. Brian Marshall is an absolute monster on the Bass. Scott Phillips is one of the most underrated hard rock drummers around, complimenting each piece without taking it over and consuming it. And Myles Kennedy is one of the greatest vocalists alive and a killer guitar player. It blows my mind that they're still basically underground and not the biggest rock band in the world. I've been a massive fan since they debuted and they just keep getting better with each album
@MrBennyt192 жыл бұрын

@@MrBennyt19 if you don't know of them already. Look up "Mind Your Manners" and ESPECIALLY Anastasia by Miles' solo project (Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators ft. Slash). 'not the biggest rock band in the world' - begs the question of who is? When no-one sells albums anymore and rock music has disappeared from mainstream radio it is hard to work out who is 'big' anymore. Alter Bridge in that context are as successful as any other modern rock band.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Alter Bridge are one of THE BIGGEST most UNDERRATED bands in the biz. It's a god damn CRIME these guys don't get more recognition or air time (I'm looking at you Sirius!) Easily some of the most talented musicians alive today.

After Creed fell apart I ended up hearing that the band was reforming with Myles as Alter Bridge, I ended up at their first concert here in the UK in Manchester in front of maybe 200 people....it was amazing to be so close, then they came back, Manchester again, slightly larger venue about 400-500....amazing again. The last time I saw them was for the release of ABIII and it was at Manchester Arena infront of thousands....since then my health took a hit and I haven't seen them.....but they continue to put out the best stuff today.....I will always remember those beautiful concerts and fistbumping Mark, Myles and Brian as a super excited 20 year old. I wish them all the success in the world as they continue to take it by storm

Greatest hard rock singer of this generation and it’s not close.
@LSwick-ss6nm2 жыл бұрын
This is why they are one of the greatest rock bands ever. I grew up on what we now call classic rock and Alterbridge captures the huge, stadium anthem sounds of Boston or ACDC as well as the melodic flow of less hard rocking bands like Journey. Then they kick it up several notches and drop heavy driving rhythms and riffs that have a Metallica like influence. This may be their best total album.

Thanks for introducing me to Alter Bridge. They are a very powerful group with excellent vocals, percussion & guitar work. If I may let me leave you with two songs, which if you've heard you'll probably enjoy again. If not, hope you'll review. Incubus' In the Company of Wolves and Queen's The Prophet's Song. Both have awesome vocal stylings & are superb musical journeys. Prophet's is dark & kinda scary for Queen. Wolves I consider the tale of two stylings, Floyd & Al Greene. Interesting combo, nuff said.
