Some more gems dropped from some grown ass men/strength who did their time in Strength sports. Their perspective and wisdom is priceless. Thankful that they shared this kind of dialogue.

For years I was training just to train. Not until I signed myself up for a Highland Games comp did I actually make progress.

Dave got kind of emotional talking about what he's willing and not willing to do in regards to staying healthy. His outlook comes across disappointing, comes across as if he's been mentally defeated in regards to being "healthy".

bit of a daft thing to say that he will endure every minute of the back pain - unless youve had slipped or compressed discs its not apparent that this is a pain not worth having!!
