These are great to watch. Always amazes me how people who look strong aren't always the best deadlifters

11 minutes in...that "snap pull". Man that was such an eye opener for me, and I notice new pullers just can't seem to accept you need to be slow off the ground. I mean, it's a contradiction, cuz as soon as you are off the ground, you want speed, but that "yank" at the beginning just messes everything up

Great video! Have you ever tried having a second bar setup with 225-405 for them to regress to and try your adjustments on before moving up in weight? I think this would help cement adjustments through easier practice. Thanks for the informative video!

Sam, do you have any plans of doing some more strongman stuff on the channel? You've mentioned in many videos that you have a background in the sport.

Absolutely! We will be filming more and more in the future. Have some really cool stuff planned after my powerlifting meet in december when i get back to training for it!
@koleary17983 жыл бұрын
@@eliteftsofficial sweet! I'd love to see some content about building overhead strength in general, I think that'd dovetail nicely with the strongman theme.
@koleary17983 жыл бұрын
@@eliteftsofficial also Sam, when I have your attention, can whomever looks after the table talk podcasts examine doing short clips again? I know you've done them in the past but I think they've dropped off a bit. If they're title/tagged right for that SEO they're such an amazing way to get more bites out of the content cherry. (I work as a digital marketing analyst for an MSP; I also run into issues with getting good quality content out on the regular. More quality content for the same amount of work is always great in my book).
