The products appear to be exactly what I'm looking for: ultra-portable, with long battery life, and capable of handling gaming during spare time. I have a small question regarding the performance-at what FPS and settings does Valorant run? Additionally, would you consider it a "light game"? I always enjoy your content, and these options seem perfect for university use. I hope to hear back from you soon.

Now I think that its trash. Either this laptop or this new ryzen 1st reason is, 53db fan noise only for 28w? Is there any good cooling? I guess not, cuz last year zenbooks had a joke instead of cooling system, asus does not care about cooling. 2nd why its only 28w, for a laptop this big, I'm talking about 16inch big with 2.fans why it can't run at least a 45w processor? It doesn't even have descreet GPU, whats the point of this ridiculous limitation on tdp?! 3rd noone needs Ai, at this point AI is just a marketing bullsht 4th this generation ryzen uses Mediatec wi-fi chip, which is just bad, it drops wi-fi, just as expected, mediatec modems had this problem in past and still didn't fixed it 5th no support so-dimm ram this isn't that bad if we mind new ram for laptop standard but asus want your money so they don't give you an option. 6th bad vent holes placing, id you close your laptop and try to use it with external display it will overheat, cus you covering up vent holes with screen This laptop and probably this gen of ryzen processor is 100% no-go for me

I think it's because their development and marketing departments have little to no communication. Same happens with Samsung too. Apple sells a product, AMD sells a platform with 10+ different SKUs, and they dont produce laptops, just chips. Yes the AI in the name is lame, but it still needs a category and model number unlike Apple that can just stick with the version and a "Pro" or "Max" for the other two versions. If you want to compare naming to Apple, you dont compare the name of the CPU but of the laptop: "ZenBook S16" to "MacBook Pro 2023". Not much different.

@@somnambulist6636 It's a better architecture efficiency and performance wise. In macOS you can use most of it as VRAM, so there are other convenient functional consequences. In terms of repairability, RAM is the most durable component and does not wear out like SSD, so I don't bother if it's soldered or not. Problems with RAM are very rare and even if you get a faulty module, it manifests itself in early years of usage, which are covered by the standard warranty.

Based on the battery life testing, if battery capacity is also normalized, then the battery life is almost the same as core U7. This is kind of weird. I assume the behavior could come from peripheral power consumption like monitor.
