vette really seemed to have a light back. however it seemed to always gain alot in heavy breaking corners. Either Dave is marvellous on the breaks or thats one of the corvettes main strenghts.

FYI, if you install the Release Candidate of Crew Chief, it will work correctly with LMU.

lmu has paid content? i barely afford g29 and all i can get to race with toyota gr86 in iracing thats is so annoying i paid for iracing and 90 percent of the content is paid im gonna switch lmu if it has more free content iracing is just too fucking expensive

@@mehmetiskisk2128 Not yet. Just the base game. I imagine when they bring out DLC it will won't be cheap, but obviously still be significantly cheaper than iRacing. We'd be looking at a bunch of new hypercars, a full GT3 field and 4 new tracks. That's a lot isn't it. So even selling at a reasonable price I think it won't be dirt cheap just due to how much content there will be. Basically doubling the content. So I wouldn't be surprised to see it being at least $30.

@@mehmetiskisk2128 I heard that LMU will add DLCs and subscription for online racing. These games are expensive to make if you want to make these properly. I mean laser scans, realistic cars etc and then simracing market is so small. Iracing is expensive, but its very versatile with the content and still my go to sim.

Hey Dave. To answer your question, the Corvette is not pants. The latest update introduced a BoP change to a number of cars, and if you use any assists like abs or traction control, you'll be penalized with additional weight added. As always, really enjoy your content. Keep up the great work.

What is this for a weird rule? If cars irl have abs or traction control you should be able to use this without penalty. And if they don’t have this irl, you shouldn’t be able to use this ingame.

Odd. If as said if cars don't have the assists irl then they should not be available. I.e. GTE should not have ABS available to use.

@@LuckYp0rriDge the dude didnt explain correctly, this only applies to assists in the game. This cars have tc, no problem using tc, but if you use abs, which these dont have, you will get penalized, same with stability control and other in-game assists

Good race. European bias as in most racing sims is why to Vette is overlooked. But that is fine because I am the same way but in inverse. I chose the US brands over the the Euro and Japanese if there is an option.

Dave, you have a video about why rFactor 2 is your favourite sim. Do you still feel that way since LMU came out? Though it's only a subset of cars and tracks for me I've really been enjoying LMU online. Though rF2 is still good to get some variety.

Hey Dave, congrats for the race man, you get better during the race, started doing 2:19 and ends the race doing 2:17, were you running on medium tyres?(sorry if you told and i did'nt get it) for me it's always the opositte, i'm running on soft tyres, and start doing 2:16 low and at the end i'm doing 2:17 high, but i tested medium tyres, and the start was horrible, I was overtaken by 3 others drivers. did you notice if it was the top split? Again, congrats for the podium

I've no idea which split and tbh I've no idea what tyres is as on. I didn't change them so whatever is default 🤣

@@davecamyt Well thanks, default is soft, i would say that you saved the tryes at the start, the game does'nt tell wich split is, but you can notice by the users registered before the race, that list is sort by Driver rank, if your name it's on half top, probably you'll get the top split. About Estaban Ocon, we can't afirme, it's him, because there's no validation on name, and i did'nt see him posting nothing on the social medias, probabily it's a guy faking us see you on track,

Tire temps/pressure changes soo much compared to iracing. In iracing when you get your tires hot, they stay hot forever. Nice to see new sims coming out, but without VR support its not for me.
