You're welcome :) yep absolutely, it's one of my favourites but it is a bit of a tough listen, especially the last line and how that has become quite ominous sounding knowing how he ended up. But still a really beautiful song
@vulneris115 ай бұрын
Thanks so much Dave. Have learnt 4 Buckley songs off you. So in depth and accurate. It blows my mind how many variations and chords he can jam into a song without it sounding like too much or like he’s showing off. They are so much fun to play along with. No wonder his band looked so into it ❤

so, I'm not old or a luddite, but I just never had a habit of enjoying "screen time" in any of my free time and never got in to the habit of using youtube or the internet as a place to listen to music outside of spotify or itunes/just streaming music. 2020 changed that. And while i don't regret not having spent more time at a computer/tablet/phone, I had no idea so much really, really good deep cut music was here. The youtube algorithm seems to always know what I am working on which is either kind of creepy or just a really good algorithm. This video popped up as i was browsing this morning over coffee and of course I had to check it out. Short story long....I am really glad I found this today. Thank you for the great content.
@davedoingguitar2 жыл бұрын
The algorithm governs us all, it occasionally works too and I'm glad it led you here this time :) Thank you so much for the kind words. You're a big fan of Jeff I'm guessing? I've done tutorials and covers for most of Grace and a couple of his other tunes which you might be interested in as well :)
@mountain_girl2 жыл бұрын
@@davedoingguitar will most definitely check those out too, thank you. Learning JB tunes and his approach to chords and just how he approaches the guitar in general makes me a better player. thanks again, cheers
@davedoingguitar2 жыл бұрын
No worries :) Yeah along with being arguably the best vocalist of all time he was an absolute master guitarist and had such a great way of writing/voicing chords and progressions. The biggest loss in music in my opinion. Good luck with your JB learning :)
