Mr. Porter, I love what you say initially. Very important "Connect with the soul" of what you are drawing. I hear from many of my "fans" that they can see how I can capture the "soul" of the animal in my drawings. I do not do many portraits but thought I should start learning better techniques for drawing people, especially children as that seems to be something I am asked to draw often.
