Dave...what do you use to blend? Stumps or colour shapers?

Hi Sujanith, I sometimes use a ear bud and Colour shapers just for the rich colour stage and details, but not the stumps, they seem to take too much pastel off the surface for my liking. All the best 🙏

So… I have a sketch pad with gray paper. Is that not sufficient, because it has a little tooth. I guess that would be a good reason why I can’t get smooth results. 😅

HI Jen... you need some tooth... just add small amount of pigment each layer, and you will get the results. All the very best 🙏
