Not only the portrayal, but the whole condition is actually wrong😂 it's p much impossible to cross the borders. And how they talk about k drama in public, how they get away on the ship or how pyeongyang is portrayed.. it is based on facts to some extent but some things are just hilarious. But it's such a nice drama, it's quite popular is korea too.

Well at least they dont have terrorism and have maintained their traditions and culture without forgetting their own ways or having others taking over and replacing and loosing age old methods. That are way more sustainable. Yes theres like 99 percent wrong with the entire 'country' but theres good too. Like the nature still existing in the DMZ like chernobyl its undoubtly fucked but theres always a silver lining to everything. So i think we should celebrate those silver linings with north koreans and not try to immediately bulldoze what they have with modern south korea because like they said theyre completely different countries now even if they have things in common its like saying all latin based languages are the same or all european countries cultures. I wish their was a way to make north korea a more eco nature preserve slash historical or traditional area only and thise who wished to live truly korean could go there and those who wanted to live really south korean or modern would go to south korea... so the north is preserved for its good without the tyrannical government of either country upsetting the balance.

Wendy Yay You're right, but I was just comparing it to Korean as in modern day Seoul dialect Korean. Sounds like a very outdated, military style version of South Korean... Or maybe it's just me?

What I like at most in how this channel speaks about North Korea is that, they don't talk in a depressed way, for sure it was hard for her and for the people who are still there but her composure shows the strength of her people.

I enjoy whatching it, this is why it is nice to have some talk to someone that live in a different countries. We could sometimes learn from them, especially those things that are not familiar or we're not used to. I'd learned a lot from her and it's nice and cute to hear how she enjoys telling all of those experiences of her.

This is informative and enjoyable to watch, but with a dreadful impact of reality. People, enjoy your freedoms. You may think everything is opressive, but you probably don't know 1 second of true opression. (Before you start to come up with problems and tribulations people still have to go through, don't. This is not a competition.)

OMG I want to see 84738282 more videos about her and life in North Korea but even more about how she’s adjusting to life now and seeing her try things for the first time! I want to host her in my home here in America and show her anything and everything she could ever dream of! I had no idea about a lot of the things she was saying. It’s so fascinating and also incredibly heart breaking! 😢 Tell her if she ever wants to come to America I’d love to show her around and talk with her. I really need to get fluent in Korean! My best friend’s adult daughter speaks it (and 5 or 6 other languages) but an interpreter wouldn’t be quite the same.
