Bruh, Climate changes all the time. In 1979 when I was in Jr. High, we were told "We're heading into an Ice Age. By the year 2000 the arctic ice will be down to the Wisconsin/Illinois border and we won't be able to grow crops in the USA or Europe. Just 13 years later (1992) Al Gore was telling us all the ice caps were going to melt by 2012, and there would be NO More polar bears. By 2012 the The ice caps were thicker and the polar bears are thriving. They started this whole ecological scare tactics 60+ years ago. How do you know that the satellite housings are designed solely for showing off, and not because they are an industry standard? As for being "big" it's a 33m boat, so while impressive to most people, probably wouldn't receive much attention at the most exclusive marinas. As for the CO2, this planet is doomed, (for humanity) because of the inaction of Western* governments for decades, and not because of the this boat. It is powered by an MTU engine, (part of the Rolls Royce group) who claim to be class leaders in sustainability, (although I've not looked into their claims). *Initially Western governments, but over the last few decades the issues have spread far beyond what we'd call Western.

The yacht in question is c@sea, a Riva Dolcevita 110, and is specified to be propelled by two MTU 16V 2000 M96L Diesel engines with 2638 HP. Of course there is the slight possibility the owner could have outfitted it after-market with an electric/hybrid system, but since the build year was 2022 I doubt anyone would have rehauled the expensive drive unit completely after just one year.

That's a channel entrance at a river. You're typically allowed to plane through them in the US and probably in France too. It's dangerous to go slow on many of them.
