This will forever be one of my proudest moments as a fan. I'm really, really, really proud of David when I watched this on t.v and no matter how many times I watch this I will always be so proud. He just keeps getting better. No matter how many times he has performed Imagine already, the innocence and the emotions and the intensity never gets old. I can really feel the message of the song. It's just beautiful...so plain beautiful. American Idol, this is what a performance is all about!

David Archuleta has shown the American public just what a true American Idol should be. He has a God given talent, generosity, spirit, humility and has integrity, dignity and love for his fellow man. His heart and soul he puts into his music gives the world a better sound for all to hear. Imagine is one of David's favorite songs to sing and express his feelings and emotions to his adoring fans. Any version David chooses to sing will be a great one!

Amazing how David can create such admiration and awe with just his voice and a piano!!! No flashy dancers, pyrotechnics, or other special effects were needed for him to carry the night. Just the simple beauty of David's voice and the elegance of a legendary song were enough to create a very special musical moment.

It's always bugged the daylights out of me the way American Idol and it's cronies have treated David. They could all learn a thing or two from him. Like how to carry yourself with class. Go David! Oh my gosh...I was so happy to see & hear David Archuleta perform "Imagine" again on the American Idol stage. He was amazing! I just love him and think he is an amazing singer / songwriter. I can't wait for his next single to get released!

This will always be one of the few performances that I remember from all my years of watching American Idol. Not specifically this performace, but David performing Imagine, in general. I fall more in love with his version EVERYTIME I hear it. I wasn't a huge Lennon or Beatles fan before this, and I'm still not, but David singing this inspired me to listen to Lennon's version. And, I'm thankful it did. It's such a great song, through and through.

wow! really wow!.. I heard different singers singing this lennon song but this is the only one I found truly amazing it send chills to my body. what a voice!!! love this guy. How does David keep getting better and better? I thought his voice was perfect two years ago when he inexplicably came in second on AI. But David keeps improving, showing the world that he is a true vocal artist and definitely deserving of all the praise he receives.

David was just beautiful last night. This song is now forever associated with him for AI viewers. I love it when he sings at the piano, although I believe it may put some strain on his voice. He's matured quite a lot too. I don't see the rudeness some people are talking about here as regards Ryan. What else was he supposed to do, accompany David to an imaginary door?
