David Archuleta sings the National Anthem at the Jazz Game

i commend him, he's been singing since 7am since he got back from utah, and he can still sing the anthem by the evening. he was scheduled to sing this at 7pm. so he's been screaming and singing all day long. SO IM PROUD, THAT WAS GREAT!! JOB WELL DONE DAVID ARCHULETA!!!!

I reckon (and this is my opinion) the reason why DA sounds so amazing is the way he can use his voice to slide to each note. And it isn't just any slide that any average singer can do, he seems to be able to FEEL where the apropriate note should be. This makes it feel like most of the song has 'climactic' parts throughout. He never overuse's his trenelo either, which is another reason why I think he's top notch. Its that natural sound he has that distinguishes him, and makes him exectional.

This is simply..AMAZING! This was performed during his homecoming in Utah during the Top 3 of the AI. He was up at 6am in the morning, did television interview, radio interviews, autograph signing with thousands of fans at the GateWay Mall, perform at his High School- Murray High and still deliver such a fantastic peformance with so much passion...I am sooo.. impressed with him! he is a true inspiration for all and will always support him . Way to go , David !

I was at Murray High when he sang and he DID AMAZING! However, I could tell at the end how tired he must have been vocally... I can not believe how well he did on this after Murray High, on top of the rest of his day. He really is SUCH a talented kid! Go get em' David! (P.S. For Archuleta fans, those videos of him singing at Murray High have been posted - picture sucks, but the sound is decent... He sounds amazing either way! Haha... )

yep i know, when i listened to cook's for the first time, i was grimacing throughout the whole thing (especially the first line when you couldn't even make out what notes he was trying to sing). when i listened to archie's for the first time (and every time after that), i got chills and tears because it was so beautiful (not to mention pitch perfect).
