Honoured to be included in this conversation and looking forward with some trepidation to see how my own conversation with David plays. He kindly refers to me here as a friend but I should make clear we have become friends only through a shared admiration for each other's writing and have never actually met in person. And to reconfirm that it is the ever-expanding unfettered final vision of Kenogaia that is so impressive but also the evocation of the thread of the divine which is inherent in all children and becomes attenuated, blunted and finally for the most part lost in the mechanical limited "grown up" universe. As my beloved granddaughter wrote in one of her first of many many wise writings: TOYS ARE REAL FAIRIES ARE REAL GROWNUPS ARE SILLY.
