There's a story on this and that is that the people moving those big lights onstage were arrogant dancers who thought they were the shit. So they got word that Bowie would like to know if they'd join him onstage prior to the show & when they showed up they found out that they were gonna just move giant stage lights lol. If true which I believe it is, then it's a serious mic deep moment. 🎯

Bowie's 90's work was brilliant & intense and is overlooked way too much! Seeing that Bowie was his own man & didn't give into the powers that be the critics were very biased one saying he was a dinosaur & they were focusing on Mad donna and Backstreet Boys lol.

Bowie is missed , was so lucky to have seen him every tour practically. Diamond Dogs to his last “ Reality” w/ Macy grey backing up 🆙 n 2003 and all in between , even caught Iggy & Bowie , also Tin machine in early 90’s NIN w/ DB and Trent Resnor Area 2 concert w/ Bowie - Moby - Buster Rymes - Blue man group. The audiences were worth the price - see a Halloween jack here a thin white duke over there , a ziggy in the mezzanine. The arenas were always charged w/ excitement, cause you cld never 2nd guess Bowie. Always creative and forward thinking and quite unique from costumes to lighting and stage shows, more times then not ….

@@morbidmanmusic I don't know, if you weren't a Bowie fan or didn't even know who he was, I can see young people in the 90's looking a bit strange at a 50 year old with orange hair putting out techno music in crazy outfits. I'm not saying that was the case or it was a majority of people, I'm just saying I can see how people could think that, eventhough I don't think that. But then of course the other side of the coin is teenage girls going crazy for hot men way beyond their own age, so it probably equals out 😆 Not like he cared about any of that, which is why he's cool to begin with.
@leeannasloan22922 жыл бұрын
I was a teenager in the 1990s and all the kids knew Bowie. He put out an album with Trent reznor in the 1990s that was really popular..I grew up with classic music from my mom and aunt and we 90s teens were little kids throughout the 80s when Bowie was played all the time on the radio. As a teen In the 90s I knew exactly who Bowie was and so did everyone I hung out with...no one thought Bowie was an old guy trying to be cool, he was the old guy who was still the epitome of cool.

I am sure this is a misunderstanding. You must think I mean Milli Vanilli Type "Lip Syncing"; David would never...If he ever, we wouldn't be able to tell..., but he wouldn't. What I was saying, is the lips in Joe's version are matched precisely with the image; In Sync. Lip Sync or Lip assignment is a term used in animation, my specialty. I had just seen another version that was badly dubbed. I was so peeved by it, I was going to fix it myself... Then, I saw Joe had already done it. (1 or 2 frames off, can make a difference.) Joe proved all the components were available. This edit is perfect! There are montages people do where available footage is overlayed and doesn't quite match. I can live with that.; but blatant mistakes or butchering the edit irks me; why waste my time...check me @BuxomBroad you'll see I am a real Bowie fan.
