it’s so incredible to hear her describing how she came up with the idea for the black dress. that dress has been my absolute dream since i was a toddler, watching that concert in vhs!

When she sang under pressure with Bowie she was just amazing. Such a fantastic voice and a strong presence.

I just got chills as she described her character as a death virus seducing Bowie.

We think immediately on coronavirus, but she was certainly thinking about the HIV virus, which led Freddie Mercury and many others to death at the time of the tribute.

Annie Lennox is an artistic genius. Her seduction through the song was incredible but Bowie stood, sang and kept going. I was a great metaphor

For years I thought of this performance as Annie Lennox annoying David Bowie, it so irked me because I loved this song and I loved Bowie. I am embarrassed to now know where Annie Lennox was coming from. I am apologetic and am in awe of her and this performance, now of this. Not that it matters… who am I? What a beautiful education I have received. Please cherish this performance, if you have the time.

Annie was on David like a boa in the last minute of their duet for Freddie. It didn't seem to have any effect of David. He was the ultimate pro.

Watch again. First he is annoyed but tries to ignore the uninvited embrace of the virus and soldiers on as a professional. But she is persistent like a fatal disease, and puts up the pressure until she gets a response out of him (by touching his neck I think). He is angry for a moment, but then composes himself and does a professional half turn to end the embrace. He is showing all the emotions when confronted with accepting death.

and why the F*** did this guy who posted this rip the off of another posting of the full video? I can tell he did because I was watching the full video the other night, and couldn't finish it because of that INCREDIBLY annoying smacking noise the videographer is making, probably chewing gum! The same noises are in this clip so I can only assume it's a copied and shortened clip of that.
