No joke. When I was younger I was a sever for a banquet hall. On new years my table kept calling me David when my name tage said Mark... finally I knew that they were picking on me cause I looked alot like a young David Bowie and have been told this many times before. Before the end of the night I told my table that David was my uncle and that he was a cheap SOB that never came through with his promises of getting me a guitar for Christmas. The one gent asked me to sing a song so I did to his Asian girl friend, China Girl. Everyone got the biggest kick out of it and at the end of the night they gave me $200 in an envelope, saying here's to your guitar and thank you for singing! I'll never forget that night and now after many years I have all the guitars and musical instruments I need. And David was such a huge inspiration for me over the years. Thank you for a legacy that will live on forever!

His real 15 minutes of Fame 😉 was truly the years just prior to his heart attack. Wish he had never done the dumb things he did in the 70s that caused his health problems.
