To be fair it started as a seated audience, and there's a level of decorum suggested when it's in a small venue and not an arena. It's pretty good to get anybody abandoning their chairs, and he certainly got a good number of them to do exactly that.

Yeah, it doesn't matter how you heard of him. I'm 60 and been a huge fan all my life, since 12 years old. Always played Starman and others to my little 4 and 6 yr olds while driving...LOL Now my daughter is 23, loves Bowie, not because of me but she discovered him on her own, with no recollection of my playing Ziggy all the time in the car...lol...and she's painting him too. Just awesome....Bowie is really out of this world.

Its funny because i did not know this was a David Bowie song, I grew up in Brazil and there is a band called Nemhum de Nos and they have a song called Astronauta de marmore which a version of starman. I thought that was the original until I heard this version in the movie
