You should watch some of Nina simones stuff at Montreaux if you think this lacks audience participation. They were disgraceful
@peggieschafer4852 жыл бұрын
To be fair it started as a seated audience, and there's a level of decorum suggested when it's in a small venue and not an arena. It's pretty good to get anybody abandoning their chairs, and he certainly got a good number of them to do exactly that.

@@issyjas3309 There’s also footage of fans jumping on Bowie during performances, one example when he duetted with Tina Turner, David carried on like the pro he was 🕊️💖🕊️

The genius that was David Bowie today and his iconic pop culture phenomenon writer/singer actor will change 100 years from now and he will be elevated to join the echelon in the ranks of the immortals Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Tschaikowsky, Wagner, Bach and Chopin. All geniuses are truly unique and original Bowie was also that, he will be remember for centuries to come and I dearly and sorely miss him.

Always played Starman and others to my little 4 and 6 yr olds while driving...LOL Now my daughter is 23, loves Bowie, not because of me but she discovered him on her own, with no recollection of my playing Ziggy all the time in the car...lol...and she's painting him too. hmm i think so. Don't quite remember the exact scene. But it was awesome! Its funny because i did not know this was a David Bowie song, I grew up in Brazil and there is a band called Nemhum de Nos and they have a song called Astronauta de marmore which a version of starman. I thought that was the original until I heard this version in the movie

It was when the people of the Hermes decided to go get Mark and got ready and called their family and everything! Meanwhile, Mark was in Mars, doing his Marsy things. Right after this song ended, it was '7 months later'.

Switch on the Tv we may pick him up on channel two Look out your window I can see his light If we can sparkle he may land tonight Don't tell your poppa or he'll get us locked up In fright There's a starman waiting in the sky He'd like to come and meet us But he thinks he'd blow our minds There's a starman waiting in the sky He's told us not to blow it Cause he knows it's all worthwhile He told me: Let the children lose it Let the children use it Let all the children boogie There's a starman waiting in the sky He'd like to come and meet us But he thinks he'd blow our minds There's a starman waiting in the sky He's told us not to blow it Cause he knows it's all worthwhile He told me: Let the children lose it Let the children use it Let all the children blue again
