The long haired young girl, sitting on the stage at Mick Ronson's feet is my dear friend Paula. She said the gig started at 11 am and went on til the evening. (filming, retakes etc) David just had salad for lunch!!! My GOD to be that close to them both. She said it was very relaxed, zero hype. There was a feeling that it was a shared experience with the musicians, rather than a "them and us" attitude. Things were so much more instincive and natural then - before corporate business crashed in. Apparently the American cameramen refused to film until David took off the third hand which was covering his crotch. They said it wouldn't get on US TV with it on. Ruined his outfit!!
