Utterly brilliant Mr. Crusher. Some more candidates for your series: Anderssen, Alekhine, Keres, Spassky, Stein, Velimirovic, Hodgson, Shirov, Hector, Topalov, Sutovsky, Jobava, Nakamura

I guess the genius of the exchange sac (rook/bishop) is the precise positional evaluation after the trade - timing being the key issue. As Petrosian said (a master of Bishop/rook XC sacs) "the earlier I can positively trade my rook for an active bishop the more chances I have of gaining positional compensation for the transaction. Too early and the opponent can nullify (my) extra bishop with smart pawn maneuvering, too late and you just gave up the most important endgame piece for an inferior one". So timing is critical, but according to Petrosian err on the earlier side than delaying it. The key words being the "earliest time to positively trade"

Some people might say your video and long and too much explanation. But, I have always enjoyed your video due to those very same facts. I strongly feel that there can be no too much explanation for chess for it would be a solved game.. Keep up the good work.

I'd like to see a video on Kramnik's best moves against Kasparov. All the exclmation point moves that stunned Kasparaov.

What about David's brilliant rook sacrifice in game one of his world chess championship match against Botvinik?

Great channel . Just like to say that you don't actually have to wait the full 10 seconds for people to pause the video as once they pause it time actually stands still for them. There are some people who don't care to try to find the next move so they are just sitting there waiting for 10 seconds to pass.. Just a thought l'd suggest giving people 2 seconds before you continue with the game...Forgive me if l sound nit picky

2:37 isn't Qe8+ good for white here? If Kf6, Rf8+. If Kg5, Qh5+ followed by Rf8+. If after Qe8+ black plays Qf7, white has Qe4+.

His chess career has only just started. Do you mean Magnus Carlsen between particular years, or say "Best Magnus Carlsen Sacs until 10 years old... etc"

Hi KC, first, thanks for your excellent job on line. I know you like Bronstein, so you get to know the truth about why he was not world champion. The KGB kept his father in jale until he resign because they wanted a champion with typical russian name. But he had the level and had prove it until this "forced"mistake in the last game.He confessed all a few day before to die to his best friend, owner of the house of chess in Brussel who's my friend and told me this. What a shame for chess history!
