An amazing song. The simplicity hides the depth of it. It's been too long David. Thanks for doing this.

Byrne is a trip like Robert Fripp, yet somehow their music connects us with the sublime, and as we age our perspective changes and I'm glad to see the maturity and depth of David's music, where before I had never really took him seriously..

David Byrne is a legend! Can't wait for this full album and to see him on his tour. Grew up on the Talking Heads and honestly no one matches him.

When song comes on when I hear them say Everything stops, everything change There's nothing special now it's nothing profound But something about the way you sound When the melody ends and the rhythm kicks in It knows where I'm at and it knows where I've been Well that's when I call you up That's when my river overflows That's when I use my cash card That's when I think of who you are That's when there's a knock at the door And that's what we're doing it for Well that's when i've got you're message That's when I sing a song Now that's when he says it's over That's when my life is in your hands Now that's when I call you up That's when my river overflows That's when I use my cash card That's when I think of who you are This is when This is now This is that This is how This is what This is then This is where (This is when)

For all of you millennials trashing baby boomers for liking the rest of the HEADS, (isn't this age warfare getting old?), let's not forget the rest of the Heads made up a killer rhythm section that MOVED like nobody's business. I wanted to hear what they could do with David on future albums that ultimately never happened. And the old HEAD stuff regurgitated by Byrne lacks the propulsion of the original HEADS. I saw the live filming of STOP MAKING SENSE, and that was one incredible show.

It is just my opinion guys. I have been a Talking Heads fan since before you were probably born. I consider Byrne one of the best living artists. He has always been experimental. Not every experiment works. For me this is just a direction that I am not too fond of. In fact, there are several songs on this disc that I would not care about ever hearing again. I love Everybody's coming to my house at least.
