Love that Bryne’s still trolling us. in the press he always tries to run counter I think. In his autocorrect interview recently he claims the concept of this album and it’s title are, essentially, optimistic. In fact, Genesis says God created light and darkness on the first day of creation, but didn't create the sun until day four. The sun is the source of light on Earth, you can't have days and nights without the cycle of the sun.

For example take the Higgs bosun particle sometimes called gods messenger particle which was recently discovered at CERN. This method of communication we are now using is nothing more than harnessing the natural physical laws scientists have appropriated from this unmoved mover. So what we do in science is interpret and apply not exactly invent. As the great physicist Dirac (an atheist )w ho came up with a first order equation said I dont know who god is but he must a master mathematician . Similarly Einstein ( you may have heard of him- somewhat of a Deist ) said science without religion is lame and religion without science is blind . So I am perfectly comfortable having my why explained by religion and my how explained by science that way one doesnt tread on the other in a mutually exclusive way. Eureka.

As far as the big bang is concerned my theory is the world unfolded its periodic table of the elements by a collision of two light beams traveling at different velocities one overtaking the other in a kind of collision that split these atoms of hydrogen nitrogen carbon off which became the building blocks of evolutionary light. The red light shift of Hubble's discovery shows its moving away and continuing to create an ever expanding universe leaving us at play with these building blocks in our little corner of the universe in dna. So dont label me as some bible thumping literalist incapable of understanding science and evolution .
