When I was a child I would watch this show over and over again and would repeat everything they said as they said it, while copying their intonation, and totally memorized a lot of the episodes! It is a tool I would use to learn how to speak English! I will always remember Mr. Cassidy and feel sad that he is no longer with us. Your visit to his childhood home connected his childhood to mine somehow, thank you for that.

Hi Daniel. Thank you so much for sharing your memory. I love that The Partridge Family helped you to learn English. That is so cool. We also visited where his school was, the church he attended with his grandma and was in the choir and the reservation he would ride his bike in or play with his friends.

@@NightOwl-videos Yes, I still use video of people talking to learn a particular language! But at the time I was just a child and the Partridge Family was repeated everyday after school. They spoke slowly, simply and deliberately. I drove my mother crazy repeating everything, but she also loved the Partridge Family and their music and had several of their albums and singles! What's funny is that I lived not far from there when I went to graduate school and visited an aunt who lived in Kearny a few times while I was there! I never knew Mr. Cassidy was from there or had grown up there, so it was sort of sad to see you visit the street he grew up on, with pictures of Mr. Cassidy standing next to that very house, but it was very cool!

Thank you for your video Night Owl. It is so true what you said about friendships being created through being a fan of David,i myself have become friends with a lady on you tube because of our love of David,it turned out we went to the same school,at the same time back in the seventies! I absolutely love the words you put on at the end saying This little boy grew up & added music to our lives & smiles to our hearts,it just sums up what David means to us. Thank you once again Night Owl.
