One of the high points in this era was going to Tam, collectively and individually, to get ripped. It was a special place -almost beyond words and most people "got it.". This voice and others remain as meaningful magic almost 60 years later. And all the naysayers were saying the scene would be over in a flash . Well, it was a flash, but not in the way they imagined. We were incredibly lucky to be alive with such magic all around. Rilly lucky.

I knew nothing of PERRO, per se, until just recently (though I've been crazy for Blows Against the Empire since, well, prolly 1978). This is lovely, transporting music. It puts me back one day foraging for mushrooms on the mountains near Telluride. Lizard Pass campground. Thanks for thew wonderful reminder, EweTube.

Always loved "The Mountain Song", and i see how these steps along the way would find us looking in various directions, as well as specifically, in my case toward The Cascades this time of year, and Gerry, Kantner, Grace, Jorma and Others like Skip knew the roads going up and down from there. I've seen many simularities between The Sound and Eastern Washington's Sage Brush. I mean visually, as an activity of seeing. Where The Cascade Mountains are the Buffer High Point between them. "Gonna' Make The Mountains be my Home", Haven't been up there in a while...time for a road trip..."Gonna Make The Mountains Be My Home." These versions are inspiring to me as a violin player, and also in the patterns of events which help to connect what we still have a chance to experience as interpreted.
