I ran into this album a1989. I'm such a music lover I love so many albums. But this one is number one of my top 10. I wish they had put out more music. If you're going to start your career on one album and then end it, this is how you do it. I love this collection of music so much.

This album is an absolutely perfect masterpiece. Every song is single-worthy, the music is still fresh today, the lyrics are pure poetry, the riffs are strong, the rhythms unique and, at once, classic. Funky rock and blue-eyed soul at is finest. Toni Childs on backup vocals takes it all to another level. 15 / 10 - flawless

It is one of those underrated gems, that we are all blessed to be given. If I ever am to claim a place in history, it will be that I made 3 videos to these geniuses. They might be lame and cheesy, but they are mine. All credit and respect to those whose music and internet images I used, while I could.

Brilliant album from two talented musicians, Everyone knew about Boomtown and Swallowed by the Cracks from radio play but what makes this album so much more special is B side tunes like Being Alone Together and Ain't so Easy. So many people in relationships feel alone even though they are with someone, These guys sang about the dark side of life, addictions, and relationships and sadly should have produced so much more of this great music.

That is simply a phenomenal comment!! Quit smoking, though! I did it 3+ years ago and it was huge! Did the patch, but the biggest factor was surviving colon cancer. I continued to smoke 6 months after the tumor removal, but then decided to stop. These are words from someone you don’t know, but they are sent from God, in a way. Blessings and good luck!

Lol!!! You don’t like Poison, Motley Crew, etc.???😏 I appreciate them more now, than I did then. I guess I should get a playlist on my channel to represent the “hair” that I was ok with, and eventually came to like.
@jeffrandolf56733 жыл бұрын
@@777pusher Oh no, I like hair bands... Poison, White Snake... Def Leppard is considered one, but not the SAME SONGS on a loop everyday for 8 hours over & over again. And I despise Bon Jovi, he sucks ass. He's one too, as the Poison-type list would be small. JOURNEY & Boston considered too, but they play only 1 or 2 of their songs 6 times a day.

As epic a song as Boomtown was, always thought this track might’ve just been better. It covered so much ground. Just mind-blowing songwriting/arrangements/musicianship that was on another level of musical sophistication. D&D were way ahead of their time, yet listening now it doesn’t sound dated save for a synth line or two. River’s Gonna Rise is great too!
