Last year my husband and I started fighting my ex to terminate his parental rights since March 2019. The judge finally ruled in our favor that August then signed it in December of 2019. We just filled the adoption order and are waiting for adoption ceremony date. It’s a long process but worth it. I’ve never lived in a home with the same last name and my dreams are finally coming true for a complete family name. My husband loves my 7 year old son who has autism. He’s loved him since he was 18 months old and was with us through all the testing, diagnosis and therapies. He works full time to ensure I can take my son to all his therapies. I love this family so much and love how they put God First in their family. Good men of God exist. ❤️

Your husband is an amazing man (which you obviously already know), but he is also very lucky to have such a beautiful wife & unique, special, incredible son. Our daughter has ADHD, Developmental Delay, some form of Autism & a few other things, she will be 12 in March & each day is a challenge but we wouldn't change her for anything. I hope your adoption goes through soon, you are already a beautiful family but I can understand how much it means to you all. May your future be full of love, happiness, kindness & more ❤️🙏 xx

This is amazing, I was adopted at 13 by people who just wanted a check every month, they didnt really want me. It's good to see when people genuinely want to be known as the parents of a child. I do think it's a strange trend that kids with living parents that have custody of them are being adopted by step parents, I'm not quite sure how that works, not a true adoption imo, but still sweet
