The Patrick Ewing staying in school story is interesting because John Thompson suggested Patrick to leave after his junior year, that was unlike coach because he believed in his players completing the full four years, Coach Thompson was probably thinking timing because Georgetown had won the national title in Ewing's junior year and thought he would go number 1, good deal for him to stay another year

The story of Nike and MJ is always wild to think he basically had to get dragged to their meeting. Hindsight is obviously huge in that but wild to think how things would’ve been different considering that even to this day MJ makes more a year from the Jordan brand than he made in NBA salary for his entire career. Clearly it wasn’t a slam dunk at the time since Nike wasn’t an established brand like it became but still wild to think if his parents and Falk hadn’t forced him to take that meeting and explained to him how much better the Nike deal was than anything else how different financially things would’ve been.

You have not showed us an all around skilled player by myself adding up your different accolades as a viewer. so many players, I should call their summer games, Olympic games, and competition during all star weekend. So remember what you have to do to make the mark with fans that only watch these kinda showcases. You still run 82 games that same viewer may never see. Remember the 50 year old that's only watching your summer, Olympic, all-star weekend playoffs and championships.
