I went to the same school as Sir David (nit at the same time) i was also taught for a short time by his favourite teacher Mrs Goodwin. Mrs Goodwin was brought onto the stage at the end of Sir Davids This is your Life. The school was Barnsole rd, in Gillingham. :)

Lovely man , I’ve just found out that the actor Edward Albert Arthur Woodward he played in the The Equalizer (1985 TV series) and lots of other stuff is buried here in cornwall, padstow cemetery loved him as an actor so if ever your down this way you might want to have a look .

I always love your facial expression and your going “I fink I’ve found it! Just cracks me up every time bless you. Thankyou for sharing this visit with us, and although sorry David passed too soon…good grief, his poor son Miles too! Only early 30’s with his whole life yet to live! That’s terribly sad and unjust. But it’s good that father and son are now close together both here and United in Heaven bless them both. It looked rather a space churchyard, not many recent burials, which is good of course, but no flowers anywhere either, which always take away some of the gloom. Loved your two little friends who approached…glad you didn’t move away until the second one had walked all that way..such short little legs Shetlands, with there comical but lovable faces. Glad you didn’t try and feed them anything. A mistake too many people make! NEVER EVER give horses you pass, an apple or parts of an apple. This happened to a friend of mine..his young daughter died , and left her two much loved ponies behind that he kept caring for on her behalf, then made a devastating discovery…both horses dead in the field. Vet found they had choked on apples given to them by unknown person. So you may think your being kind, but please don’t feed anything. Their owners do that.. Sorry Paul, but had to mention that..those two looked so cute I can imagine passers by wanting to give them something nice to eat, but tragic accidents can be the result! Hope you get your new mic ok….we could hear you, but new one will be better. As an aside Paul, knowing you like unusual things, Google “Weird Norfolk, :The wax Lady of Stow Bardolph “ ! Grim! But interesting! Warm regards Helen in Norfolk. 🙋‍♀️😘👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥰🙏😸

The Frost Report with its satirical sketches was one of the first tv shows I saw. Mum & Dad would be watching it on our black & white tv, & I’d sneak out of bed to watch it. They never knew! 😊 It was shown here on the ABC, Australia’s BBC equivalent. So much talent on that show. Another great visit. Thank you. 😊

He was so important to British comedy in the 1960s with shows like Frost Over England and The Frost Report and brought together the two Ronnies for the first time as well as giving an enormous leg-up to performers such as John Cleese and The Monty Python cast. I loved his work in those days, I was even allowed to stay up to watch TW3. He was a gifted man with a huge amount of acumen and was a brilliant interviewer. His evisceration of Emil Savundra was truely memorable when at the close of the interview, Frosty just walked off camera leaving Savundra sitting in the studio alone. Brilliant stuff, or as Sir David would have said: 'Super, super.' !

An absolute Legend of Btitish TV, that pregnant pause he brought in to every show, Hello, Good Evening......and Welcome or Join us, as we go through.........the keyhole wouldn't have sounded as good from anyone else. The honour of interviewing Tricky Dicky about Watergate, talking to so many Ex Presidents or PMs must've been nerve wracking but he took it in his stride Thanks so much Paul

Thank you. Another great video. I grew up watching Through the Keyhole it always seemed glamorous to me as a kid like Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. He also had a small acting role in The VIP’s with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton and his production company in the 70’s made The Slipper and the Rose. Fascinating man. Thank you again.😉

Although it can be argued he died prematurely, he did a lot while he was alive. He was briefly married to Lynne Frederick, Peter Sellers' widow (who died at a young age). So sad that one of his sons died so young. I think his son Wilfred has made some podcasts for the BBC featuring David Frost's classic interviews.

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is a disease in which the heart muscle becomes thickened (hypertrophied). So sad his son didn't get tested for what took his father relatively early 🤷‍♂️ RIP to them both 🙏

Mrs H 🇬🇧 .. Sorry Paul BUT for a famous person I've never seen such a person be forgotten... It's said that " Gone but not forgotten " but David & his son's grave looks like they where easy to forget .... The graves look like paupers graves... My Mother died in 1983 at the age of 52 yrs old..She's not forgotten.. Life is busy and hard but half an hour every 6 weeks is nothing to spend time remembering them..My mother's kids are older than her at the age she died but she's still loved and never forgotten..💔

Ahh Frosty a great interviewer didn’t take no prisoners good at what he did. One of those instantly recognisable voices. Responsible for bringing a lot of talent to television. You’d think Peter Cooke would have thanked him. Another flawed genius of comedy. They defiantly don’t make them like David Frost anymore. Heaven forbid these days their frightened to offend the woke brigade because they might get cancelled. I wonder what Frosty would make of todays interviewers RIP Sir David Frost. . Great video Paul a trooper the show must go on.

As much as i enjoy your content i am getting more frustrated with every vlog. Paul can you do me a favour, i'll use this vlog as an example. Of all the places in all the world David Frost could have been buried, why here? If the subject lived there or had connections in the village fair enough, but here? I find where someone is buried - laid to rest - had ashes scattered, is an important part of their story. Go see where Hollywood star Charles Bronson is buried, that'll have you asking why.

I don’t have time to find out why…. That literally means phoning up their next of kin and asking why was David buried here, they will probably say none of your business mate. So it’s not an Avenue I’m going to go down I’m afraid

@@UnusualThings1 Like most, if not all of your bios' you google Wikipedia them i presume. I googled "why was David Frost buried in Nuffield" and from the Henley Standard newspaper found out he had sold his place in Hampshire and bought a farm in Nuffield shortly before he died - no phone calls and one search. No Paul i can understand the work involved mate. I wouldn't want to go down that avenue either, hmm.
