David Gilmour in concert is pretty indescribable. I saw him in MSG in NYC. I’ll never forget the experience.

I love harmonies more than anything else in music. This trio of voices is heavenly. Crosby and Nash complement DG’s voice so beautifully!! This is lovely 🌺✌️

I was at this concert, I DO remember that night. Superb performance. He is on record as saying he approaches solos as if he is singing. Think my favourite performance from that concert was "fat old sun"...... Incredible guitar solo at the end when he switches from acoustic to electric. He is a genius.

I think the word you’re looking for is ‘ethereal’. This song just transports you to wonderful places.

This is what you get when some of the best musicians ever get together and put on a show. David Gilmour has absolutely phenomenal. He never plays the same song the same way it's always going to be a little different and that's really what I like. He puts on these enormous shows with lasers and lights I believe he does that for the fans David is just a cool dude I hope he gets knighted soon

That’s David Crosby and Graham Nash singing backup They were guests at this show Also Phil Manzanara on guitar He was with Roxy Music I’ve never missed a Gilmour tour He is the best You should hear Fat old Sun from the same show The solo is epic

Great harmonies here and the mellowness of the music makes this an all around great song. Wouldn't expect anything less from Gilmour and having Crosby/Nash is icing on the cake.

Thank you to reacting to what might be my favorite track from David Gilmour's solo career. There are quite a few gems, but this one stands out to me for the harmonies (obviously) and I also like the guitar solos here. Everything just fits perfectly together. Another song I suggest from his solo career is 'Today'. That song came out in 2016 on his 'Rattle That Lock' solo album and has a different vibe to it. I was fortunate to see David Gilmour on his solo tour that year, and that song was a highlight from the show for me.

Graham Nash, previously one of the Hollies graduated to full membership of Crosny Stills and Nash. You reacted to their song Our house is a very, very fine house which was used as an Abbey National ad. Now you see my purpose in requesting the live version. It has much more of the guitar solio on this version over the album one Thanks for the great rection

Same song played at " Gdansk" Dave has an orchestra behind him. (originally record with a orchestra ) he even got bow claps at the end. If you like this you should hear "the blue" at Gdansk and "echoes " last time to ever be played with the passing of Rick Wright. ( keyboard & original writer of the song )

I have the DVD for this concert and in one part of the special features has David Crosby, David Gilmour and David Bowie who is also in this concert walking down a Hall. They all stopped walking and David Bowie I think they were all three thinking of it but David Bowie says Hey, "3D" meaning of course the three Davids. They all laughed! You should check out David Bowie singing with mister Gilmour doing "Comfortably Numb" during this concert as well as "Arnold Layne" which mr. Bowie covered long ago, it's an old Pink Floyd song!

David Gilmour's playing is sublime. For example, listen to "Comfortably Numb" live in Pompeii.

Jimi Hendrix used that very same strap to play Star Spangled banner for us at Atlanta Pop on July 4th , 1970. David Gilmour's wife bought it for him. Imagine what that strap is worth today. My question is, who today is worthy of wearing that strap?

I’d like to cast a vote for a Gilmore Nash Band. Graham Nash singing high harmonies over David Gilmore’s voice sounds awesome. Add Nash as a good guitar player, no need to mention songwriting abilities and ethos. I imagine the blend in songwriting and arrangements might compel one to to lift one’s eyes to the heavens and be grateful.

Please react to these 2 songs. Both are great and you would be the 1st to react to them. The 1st is "If You Go Away" by Brenda Lee. It's from 1969 released on the album "Johnny One Time". Full of emotion!!! The 2nd is "Cheer" by Potliquor. It's from 1972 from the album "Levee Blues" Great drums, piano, horns, guitar, and voice. I'd really appreciate hearing you react to these. They are 2 of my favorites.
