​@@chicklets4ever51 Really? Gilmour has always said that Waters was the leader of the band and that he was fine with it because he cared about the music (there are various interviews). After Waters left the band they even tried to get him back, during the Pulse concert at the finale he thanks Waters for writing the songs saying "special thanks go to Roger who wrote some of the songs I have the honor to sing". In the "wish you were here" documentary Gilmour says "there was a hierarchy in the band and we all had found our place and we were comfortable with it. Roger was the main leader while I thought of myself as the musical leader". I've never heard an interview where Gilmour disparages Waters' work... He's always called his lyrics brilliant. They don't get along as people, but Gilmour has always admired Waters' work and has often said so in interviews. It's Waters who has trouble recognizing the work of others... he thinks he's the center of the universe. It is he who does not forgive others for continuing without him.

Pink Floyd was and is in my blood my life changed when I heard animals the first time I think it was 1977 couldn’t believe my ears the next year I had a guitar soon after a bass guitar and Floyd kept coming wow wish you were here, the wall so many dark side of the moon , have a cigar you get the picture you all were and still as musicians amazing thank you!!!

I think Rick Wright came flooding in on him when he said “There was a band called Pink Floyd.” It did seem to me to be the case. I play guitar because of this man. He taught me to play the guitar, not literally, but by listening to 5-10seconds of him and tryin to copy it.

I love how if Roger said davids EXACT words, everyone would say his ego is too big. This here, is Davids ego talking. The band along with countless others that broke up, STILL EXIST. As long as their records exist. The BAND EXISTS. David is the main person forcing the drama between him and roger the past 10 years now. Him and Polly. I dont know why cant he just respond? He was lead guitarist of the Pink Floyd for so long time. He also performs their songs during solo tour. The question was simple: if he likes recording his own albums more that working with the band. Is that question insults him somehow? I like and respect this guy so much but he will always be the part of Pink Floyd, one of a few pillars and it’s possible that the band wouldn’t be famous without him and he would be grass keeper instead of legendary guitarist without the band.

I hate that attitude pink Floyd is timeless. Roger syd and Rick are all gone. It’d be nice to see the 3 of them once more but it never will happen. But I will always love PINKNFLOYD past or present
