The people condoning and facilitating Apartheid Israel's ethnic cleansing and genocide of its indigenous Palestinian are the same people who fomented and enabled the Zelenskii's war in Ukraine. Most of them are Zionists, many of them Jews. What do people still not understand about what's going on?

I know barely anything about how the economy works but even I knew the sanctions against Russia was only going to be a minor blip for Russia to deal with. People then claimed Putin was a "dead man walking" but here he is still, doing a lot of damage for someone who was supposed to be sick and dying from illness, plus the target of so many who want him taken out. Well, we've learned that wishing for outcomes we desire and reality are two very different things.

Along with his free elections, killing off his opponent in life jail time. Conveniently he dies we all know this death was no accident, his wife is told she will be arrested on her arrival back to Russia. My family who were in political govt had to flee Russia and had to run for many, many years. Even America had their name plastered in the FBI list. So much for the bright Americans.

Caroline, you always come up with information and perspectives that no one else touches. I probably watch eight hours a day of news on Israel, and so much of it is the same statistics, interviews, rocket photos, film clips, "expert" opinions, that seem to be passed around between every news outlet. You stand far above the crowd with your unique analyses, thoughtful guests, and inside information that no one else seems to be covering. I'm always thrilled when I see a new 'Carolyn Glick Show" go up. Thanks for giving us more of them.

I agree with your feelings, but America is not mentioned in the Bible, other than that it falls into the All nations going against Israel in the Tribulation Period according to Zechariah 12:3. Babylon is mentioned over 350 times in the Bible and it is always in Iraq. Babylon will be dealt with in the Tribulation Period, Revelation 18. This is what I wrote to Caroline in the comments...FYI...America is not mentioned in End Time Bible Prophecy, and will eventually turn against Israel in the coming 7 years of Tribulation on the earth, aka 'The Time of Jacobs Trouble', Jeremiah 30:7, Zechariah 12:3. The clock will start ticking on this 7 year period of God's Judgement on the earth when Israel signs a 7 year false peace covenant with the Antichrist, aka 'the little horn, or the beast', Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24, Revelation 13, 17. Turn to Yeshua Hamaschiach today for Salvation, He is your only Hope, Isaiah 53. As for Russia..it is the leader of the coming 'Gog of Magog War' prophesied in Ezekiel 38-39. This massive Russian led coalition against Israel will be destroyed by the Most High GOD of the Bible for His Glory!! Please read Zechariah 12-14. Maranatha!!!

One of the most important and best summaries of Israel’s present situation regarding its relationship and reliance on Americas friendship and support I’ve heard during this present crisis! It makes absolutely perfect sense for Israel to attempt to keep itself as self reliant both diplomatically and self sustaining as it possible can by not putting all her eggs into one basket, and solely relying on American support and military supplies, especially under Bidens presently, over stretched and weakening administration!

It doesn't address the issue that Israel is illegally occupying Gaza and all its actions are designed to suppress/eliminate the local population in a mass genocide reminiscent of the Holocaust. In fact, both these people wish Israel good luck with their efforts to exterminate the local people. Israel told the Palestinians t go South to Rafah for safety and is now bombing and withholding food from Rafah. Disgusting and unacceptable to right-thinking people. The only consolation is that their efforts to drive Hezbollah from the North are likely t fai catastrophically.

Caroline, we need your comments on what the despots of the injustice system just did. The self appointing courts defended their using their own feelings as justification for overturning laws passed by the democratic government, by saying they have a semi-constitution in the Basic Laws. Now they have given themselves the right to overturn Basic Law. These unelected oligarchs have declared themselves the despots who rule the country, the voter be damned.

Considering that Ukraine gave up 1,400 nuclear weapons in exchange for a promise from the UK and from the USA to defend Ukraine from attack, it is disgusting beyond belief that the UK and the USA would say "We will not defend Ukraine". That brings immeasurable dishonor upon the UK and upon the USA. I (as an Australian) am reminded of Britain promising to defend Australia before World War II and then abandoning us when war came. Our response of the time was to develop chemical weapons in Homebush Bay, (Sydney) (the subsoil of which is still contaminated) and to develop biological weapons in the basement of the Wagga Wagga hospital. Similarly, small nations will now commence building biological, chemical and nuclear weapons for their own defense. Indonesia has announced that it will use its five nuclear reactors to produce nuclear weapons. Japan, has been building the precursors for their nuclear weapons and for their delivery systems for many years. It is now likely that Japan will make the final step and become a nuclear power. Taiwan will now move to build nuclear weapons. The damage from this UK and USA dishonor will last for a century. It will be the century of shame for the UK and for the USA. Millions of people will die needlessly as a result. Australian has invested more than 100 years in fighting with the USA. If the USA will not honor a commitment in which Ukraine gave up 1,400 nuclear weapons then Australia cannot rely upon the USA to help us. Any words that the USA might say in response are meaningless. The UK and the USA were honor bound to sen their own troops to Ukraine to retrieve the Crimean Peninsula and other areas of Ukraine taken by Russia. We cannot rely upon the USA. Regards, Geoff. Reeks

Yes, the US effectively abandoning the Budapest Memorandum regarding Ukraine (we have sent less than 3% of our arsenal to Ukraine, and NOTHING designed after 2000) is worse than shameful, and will indeed convince other nations to develop their own nuclear capabilities for defense. I would add S Korea to the list you mentioned, particularly since N Korea already has nukes. People who deny the Budapest commitment by saying "oh, it's not a Senate-ratified treaty, so it's not binding on the US". Yeah, the UNCLOS (UN Law of the Sea) hasn't been ratified by the US Senate either, but we abide by it anyway. Clearly Ukraine CONSIDERED the Budapest Memorandum a real treaty, because the security guarantees set out in the document were a REQUIREMENT for Ukraine's accession to the UN Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty, and they did indeed turn over what was at the time the world's third-largest nuclear arsenal to Russia. You are correct, the US has surrendered any moral standing in the world, and it will eventually lead to our demise, sadly. It would not even be necessary for US or UK troops to fight in Ukraine - the Ukrainians don't need men (despite what clueless Goldman says), they have men with no weapons. If we had simply provided the air power needed, F-16s (STILL not yet there, and not US ones, only a few Dutch, Danish, Norwegian ones), F15's, F/A-18s, AH-64s, and the like, EVEN F35s, Ukraine would have already shoved the Russians back to the borders. The reason the invasion is mostly looking like a WWI/WWII artillery duel is because Western military doctrine which relies on overwhelming airpower has been completely denied Ukraine by the west. Even sending more Abrams tanks than 39 from our stockpile of 5,500 would be a help. What is our feckless DoD saving them for - a naval/air conflict with China?

At that time, No one knew all the Baltic states, Yugoslavia, Poland and Ukraine would separate from Soviet Union. It’s unfair for Russia to place these demands on their neighbors! These countries want protection from Russia. They can’t afford the powerful military it would take to defend themselves. Example, Latvia is 1 million people and very small country. The Soviet Union went bankrupt! Their fault. Is NATO was such a problem don’t you think the Kremlin would get that “promise “ in a treaty? Russia wants Ukraine because Ukraine was becoming very wealthy. Ukraine was 4th in world agriculture and the Kremlin is extremely envious of any ex soviet state being profitable and independent. 37:30 - Mr. Goldman's suggestion that Israel indirectly threaten the PRC by threatening to blow up Iranian oil terminals is not a realistic aspiration. As he himself mentioned earlier, war drives up energy prices for EVERY industrial power, not just China. However, higher energy prices doesn't hurt everyone equally. In fact, China is probably going to be LESS harmed than the US & collective West, for several reasons: 1. Any increase in oil prices benefits Russia (& other OPEC+ producers) at the West's (primarily Europe's) expense, for obvious reasons. A stronger Russia is obviously beneficial to China in the current environment, given growing US hostility. One other thing to add is that even if China doesn't expand defense cooperation with Iran, it can't prevent Russia from doing so. 2. Relative to the West, China has more leeway to cushion the blow of reduced energy supplies by increasing imports from Russia & Central Asia. 3. Increased hydrocarbon prices & supply disruptions inevitably create more economic & geopolitical incentives for the global diversification away from traditional fossil fuels. This benefits China more so than any other country, since China is the global market leader across the entire new energy value chain - be it NEVs, renewables, rare earth minerals, etc. Any effort to diversify away from fossil fuels inevitably benefits China more than any other country. Moreover, any domestic Chinese effort to accelerate diversification from fossil fuels simply means more money plowed into the domestic economy instead of flowing out to oil & gas exporters. 4. Many people don't know this, but China - NOT the US - holds the world's largest reserves of shale gas, & is #3 in shale oil. The reason it hasn't exploited those resources to the same extent as the US is primarily due to high extraction costs (compared to imported fossil fuels) & environmental concerns. However, in a high oil price/disrupted supply environment, domestic shale resources will be economically more attractive by comparison. 5. As long as China's energy prices are lower compared to that of Europe & the US, its products will have a structural competitive advantage, even if energy prices are higher for everyone in absolute terms. Bottom line - the US has just as much of an incentive to keep Israel on a leash, as the PRC does vis-a-vis Iran, if not more so.

The linchpin of US power is the USD financial architecture, without which US will not be on the top. Unfortunately, weaponizing the USD will see lots of countries moving away from USD. People think that no other currencies can replace the USD. But the BRICs countries does not aim to replace the USD with another reserve currency. Trading in commodities using local currencies will damage the USD. Biden is interested in confiscating Russia's USD reserves. With the NOPEC bills presented in the Congress, Opec countries USD reserves might well be the next, considering US is not able to pay its debt. The list goes on. Israel has to be more independent.

David Goldman's analysis of each of the super powers was thought provoking. As a pro-Israel American Christian, I have been both disappointed and frustrated with the Biden administration. I have been praying to Hashem that Israel will build its own ammunition factories and have no need for U.S. ammunition.

You two are living in the dark ages... We need to stand for ahimsa and pay heed to the words of Wisdom. Anything less is disregarding & being disrespectful to the divine. Show that you have heart & compassion for all.

It’s questionable claiming that Israel has leverage against China. Israel is a small economy, with a tiny population. Also, the presumption that the Chinese and Russians are untrustworthy is pure prejudice. The presumptions in this discussion are unrealistic, and the prejudices are shameful.
