Very enjoyable footage. Gower as a batsman was always a delight to watch. Now someone needs to teach that soundtrack bot how to pronounce 'Leicestershire'.

In batting and approach to game azharuddin of india was a right handed gower in elegance ,grace , style . A mere 30 from gowers bat would give more joy than a laboured hundered. Cricket is a visual sport and gower was a visual delight. For that reason alone : Damn the averages. My favourites : david gower followed by mohammed azharuddin .

David Gower was not a great batsman as Graham Gooch, I watched both of them played from day one in test and. I am older than David Gower and Gooch was a very great batsman, because I saw that man making back to back hundreds off the great wi 4 fast bowlers. Also when he scored 333 and 123 in 1988 at Lord's against India, then you will realized that he is a very great batsman. John edwich, Jeffrey Boycott, Mike Getting but he never lived up to his hype.
