David Hogg has been my hero since he was in high school, and he showed courage, maturity and wisdom far beyond his years. He made me look around and realize that his generation might have the guts to accomplish what our 60s generation didn’t. And many of the 60s gen can now afford to help them get it done - better late than never. I've got over 50 years on him, but I just want to live long enough to vote for David Hogg for President! It worked for one of our truly great past presidents, Jimmy Carter; he was determined to stick around long enough to vote for Kamala Harris, and he's done it right after turning 100.

What an inspirational young man. As someone who was born and lived in Texas for 64 years before deciding that I was actually fearful for my safety in the small East Texas town I had retired to following the passing of my husband and an entire area of an already Red state which was a haven for trump supporters. In 2020 I would take a walk around the neighborhood and every single house except mine has trump signs in their yard. People would drive by my house and stop and stare at my Biden/Harris signs and flag. They would shout rude things at me and laugh. It got to the point where I was actually afraid for my life. During Sunday school they would turn lessons from the Bible into trump rallies. What made the decision for me to move is when I found out that they got rid of our pastor for the ultimate crime of having a Biden/ Harris signs in his front yard and preaching sermons about loving your fellow man. In a discussion in Sunday school the next week we were asked what we thought Jesus meant by loving your fellow man and one old woman spoke up and said that she thought he meant we should only have to love other Christians. Of course she does🤨🙄! She also interrupted the class a few months after Biden took office to tell us that she thinks that the country was doing better under trump. Of course she does🤨🙄! I moved to a suburb of Seattle last year and I don't miss my home state one iota. Although I know that if trump wins there won't be a safe place in the country and soon in the world.
