David Jason is the man of a thousand voices (like Mel Blanc and Robin Williams). David Jason is such a versatile actor. Back in 1984, Terry Wogan had no idea, just how big David Jason would go onto become.

A friend of the family worked at Thames TV for many years and I used to love hearing about the big stars who worked there. He said David was very shy in real life, he worked on the Doctor In Charge series I think.

Well it’s been 36 years since this aired.. I would imagine being asked every single day of your life about Del Boy despite the fact you’ve done numerous other things would eventually get so draining to hear.. Everything was fresh and new to him back then..
