Yes TT2000 was an epic year! A 48 year old Joey pulling the elusive TT hat trick. And then killed just two weeks later in Estonia. What a legend. RIP Joey Dunlop

My 2000 R1 is set up very similar to the VH Team '99 R1... a lot of QB carbon on it and similar motor tuning... the bike was a beast back then and still is today. Now - I wish I was as good as this guy so I could actually drive it like it was meant to be!

Anyone know where we can watch the other superbike race which Joey Dunlop won? For some reason it seems as if there is no footage of that race. Ive looked everywhere on the internet and cant find footage of the race. I cant understand why as it was such an incredible moment in TT history for him to have won it.

I mean look how big he is on that bike. It's a huge disadvantage and he still blew em away. This guy (David jefferies ) I believe it was the next year or so was burning through new clutches not able to finish. Now that's absolutely pushing the bike so hard the clutch couldn't take it. He was winning when the clutch let him down as well. Sadly he ended up going down bad. He was my favorite by far

If Dunlop wasn't on that pig RC51 and on a proper liter bike , he wins this race by 30 seconds.
