Im glad i was alive and breathed the air that was the 70's and 80's. Van Halen was the epitome of music. The right people, at the right place, at the right time. There was a musical road, winding....for thousands of years.....up.......up......and at the very top was the Swing masters....VH....it all came together.....the perfect balance of talent and technology.......it was great.... And after VH, the road has been all downhill ..... ...we didn't even consider the possibility of it ending.

I introduced my mother to David back in the 90s. She loved him so much. Mum shocked my older sister when she asked me to play 'Panama' video for her to watch when my sister was visiting. Mum sat there laughing and singing along as my sister's mouth gaped. My teen nephews were loving it and one talked Mum into dancing with him. Mum then said " Nan, play 'Just a Gigalo' and ' Yankee Rose and ' California Girls' ". She then said to my sister " He has the cutest bottom!". Mum called him " Davey boy".
