Cuando la ví por vez primera en el cine me pareció buenísima, era la única forma de "ver" más tiempo a Village People, que en México los locutores anunciaban como "Los Aldeanos". La ví años después en el "Bella Época" y sí, era un churro. Memorable por la música, ahora por ver a Bruce Jenner cuando era hombre, a Valerie Perrine rol estelar tras ser la novia de "Lex Luthor" en "Superman" con Christopher Reeve y por fantasear en un biopic de cómo alcanzó Village People la cima.

El disco de village people fue el primer disco que tuve..me lo compró mi viejo pararegalarselo a mi vieja aunque claramente ambos sabian que el interesado era yo..era el año 1980 yo tenía 8 años y fue la primera musica no infantil queme gustó..esos recuerdos me trajeron aqui con por este artista junto a un trio de chicas completaban el disco

Y pensar que Alan Carr le ofrecio a Olivia Newton-John un papel en este bodrio. Felizmente Olivia no acepto. Carr se enojo y distancio de ella. Contrato a Valerie Perrine. Olivia por su parte, fue la estrella absoluta en XanadU, otro bodrio....pero nunca al nivel de este. El soundtrack que nos dejo XanadU es epico.....le dio a Olivia su cuarto N°1 en Billboard con Magic y otro N°1 en Europa y Australia: XanadU con la Electric Light Orchestra.
