David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez & More Enter the Red Sox Hall of Fame | Red Sox Report

For the first time, the Red Sox Hall of Fame induction ceremony and the presentation of the “Fenway Honors” awards for charitable achievements were held on the field at Fenway Park. Proceeds from the event benefitted the Red Sox Foundation, which is celebrating its 20 years of impact in the New England community this year.
The 2020 Red Sox Hall of Fame inductees include Hall of Famer David Ortiz and former Red Sox players Manny Ramirez, Rich Gedman, and the late Bill Dinneen. Former Red Sox General Manager Dan Duquette is the non-uniformed inductee. The Red Sox’ first World Series win in 86 years on October 27, 2004 has been selected as the “Memorable Red Sox Moment.” The induction ceremony of the 2020 Red Sox Hall of Fame class was originally scheduled to take place in 2020 and was postponed until this year due to the pandemic.
In addition to Red Sox Hall of Fame inductions, the event included the 2020 and 2022 presentation of the Fenway Honors awards, a biennial Red Sox Foundation recognition of businesses and individual leaders for their charitable achievements in the community. Boston Beer Company and Liz and Phill Gross were selected as the 2020 honorees, and CVS Health and former Bank of America Vice Chair Anne Finucane were selected as the 2022 honorees.

I remember being in homeroom my junior year in high school with a newspaper and being completely amazed that a Boston team got a player in free agency like Manny Rameriez. Dan Duquette did a very good job. Manny is the best hitter I've seen in my lifetime.

That's the biggest issue with baseball in general. Unless you live in the area you can't watch the games. I live in western NY and even though I'm a diehard Redsox fan, I can only see Yankees or Mets games. The Sox are the 3rd best team in the AL and we can barely get any nationally televised games. Instead, they're more worried about a pitch clock... as if that'll bring in any fans at all

@@cyjohnsonproductions69 I looked it up after I posted the comment. You are right. Imagine how bad NESN's KZbin channel has to be that i as a die hard fan didn't even know it existed. Every video has like 300 views. They, as a company, can't be bothered to put effort into anything. That's not even mentioning the game broadcasts have audio issues regularly and their website is un-usable spam.
