Hey ninja nic. I know your commented on this 7 whole years ago but if you get a notification, could you PLEASE tell me how you are doing with the float today? I live in a remote area, there are no studios where I live, I am practising alone with the help of YT videos and I have to say, I have learned a lot. Of course, it doesn´t beat having a teacher by your side, but I do what I can. I would like to float, I know it takes time, months and maybe even years but I am determined that I will learn it. Have you got any other pointers, any other suggestions or maybe even another video you think would be helpful to me? I am practising a lot with David and Jelena among others, and they have explained a lot to me. Your comment gave me hope and I am just curious to how your practise is going. Hopefully you are still practising and you will reply. Thank you so much. Namaste

Hej HaiHoang. How are your floats going? Are you able to do it now and if so, how long did it take you to achieve and concur if I can use that word? Thank you for your reply, if I get on and Namaste from Sweden

I never really thought about the frustration with not being able to jump back and forward is really about the struggle to stay with the count! Although for me it’s exactly what it is!! Thank you for helping me understand this! I remember when first starting the Ashtanga practice I’d get frustrated with the short count that we had to get all the way to chaturanga Dandasana but I’ve since gotten past that and the necessity to do it perfectly is no longer so important to me. Much love to you both for bringing high quality yoga to all of us❣️

Wenaism, are you floating yet? Have you stuck with Ashtanga, or have have you moved on to a different yoga style?
@TheHitchkick Жыл бұрын
@@nadines.1107 That´s what I also would like to know. I started recently, being 55 myself but have worked as a professional dancer my whole adult life so I guess I have a bit of an advantage.

That´s your opinion, but to me it was really helpful. It´s a shame you had to be so negative. I guess no one can please everyone. Still a shame you had to comment so negative without giving a more constructive criticism. Hope you still got something out of their help. Namaste
