Please please remove the ad in the middle of savasana. It gave me a fright! If you’re feeling generous, maybe the others throughout the whole class? Apart from the ads, that was lovely!

Ty is an awesome teacher and especially the topic of the breathe and diaphragm is so universal in yoga. I would love to edit and color correct your clips btw :D <3

In classical ayurveda text THEY DONT PROMOTE MEAT! Tell me what text says that! Problem is people in modern ayurveda want to bring changes to accommodate and please a bigger population in order to be accepted and that's deviating from the true teachings of ayurveda!! Meat is not good for u, no matter what, if it was the classical texts would have mentioned it. So show me, where in the classical texts does it say, meat is good for u!!!

When I was a full time teacher it was much easier to practice daily. When my life was tied to the studio and everything revolved around yoga - it was easy. After time I couldn't support myself so I became a licensed electrician. It is MUCH more difficult to revolve your life around your practice when your career is not tied into the yoga world. Not to mention if you have a physical job where labor is a huge part of work. In hindsight, as a teacher, I wish I had more perspective on how difficult it is to maintain practice for the typical householder.

Could you elaborate on morning VS evening practice. I do morning practice but I don't have so much energy... So I basically mantined San salutation during few years, now I trying to do all sending poses... But in the evening I mostly could close 1 series or at least go to mariachi assana

32:29 the woman wasn’t able and the reality of her internal situation has her in a state of avoidance and possibly shame… yoga is very confrontational for someone like me who has lived outside of my body due to trauma… that is my internal dialogue that I need to face down and sitting in my mat and breathing gets me stronger in the mind to face what has been neglected in my body…

This is now part of my morning routine… I will stay on the beginner primary practice not only until my body is stronger and more fluid but the personal internal revelations and healing for me these msgs right now are invaluable messages - I am coming back home to my self after an extended absence, feeling like like modality gives me the tools to unite my heart and my head…and I will follow up with listening to Laruga and her explanation of the philosophy- thank you so much for democratizing this practice and making this lecture series from an incredibly gifted yogi to available to the world 🙏🏽 When the student is ready- the teacher appears - thank you so much namaste

WOW, I thought the first yoga move was impressive enough, but when she began to show it in slow motion...WOW!!! Super impressive...it takes a lot of strengths and will power to be able to pull that move off like that's a no problem. Kudos to both and Bubbles is super sweet! Thank you! Namaste 🙏☸

let me throw this out there, Ive been following strict carnivore diet for a while, I just order steaks from my local butcher, get them delivered wrapped up in foil, throw in the freezer then take one out salt and air fry, done. Recently I decided to cook a hearty slow cooked veggie stew or smt, went out and bought all sorts of veggies, spices etc, cooked my meal and then it hit me when I looked in the trash - so many plastic baggies, wrappers, plastic containers for each veg, then you also have the logistics of delivering all of that stuff across countries and continents (polution), and I thought wait up, thats way more polution and resources used up for a meal I will eat 3-4 times, than just having a simple steak lmao, think about that

I feel so guilty every day I don't practice.. and it makes it harder to practice. My body hurts. . My ego hurts.. and I just feel incredibly insignificant. I feel like I am in such a rut.. where it used to feel exciting. . Now I have fear surrounding my practice.

I believe that, like many, Ashtanga or yoga is something that cannot be taught... please stop using the words "teach and teacher", yoga is ethereal and each person must experience it with their own body and each body is different, which is why it cannot be TAUGHT.

Hey, dear Elena and David, Thank you for your honest contribution. Your post perfectly mirrors my situation. I’m currently in a deep rut and, to be honest, have no motivation to practice yoga daily; on the other hand, I lack the energy. I’m not a full-time yogi; I work part-time during the day in an office and in the evenings at the studio. Sometimes, I feel like I’m constantly switching roles on stage and often get pulled between the Maya life and my yoga practice. I teach four times a week and frequently lose touch with my own practice. Your message motivates me, and life is filled with challenges in the world of Maya,🎉🥳🍸making it a daily effort to satwik 🪷 Thank you both so much. You are simply wonderful. awesome ❤️❤️ I would love to meet you both one day 🙏🙏 Raah Dikha❤
