Dear Dutch and CC I was reading your devotional this morning and it occurred to me that I never thanked you for these past 4 years of encouragement that you brought to so many of us. Your podcast was one of those that kept many Americans and those in other nations lifted up, bringing faith instead of fear. We became a family and you helped many get though the last few years. I absolutely love the story of David from beginning to end! God began to weave His purpose and plan into his life from his very conception. He never left out any of the painful details that caused him to stumble, or would cause him to cry out from the miry pit where he found himself a number of times! From his young shepherding days, to his days on the run from a murderous king; all the way to the palace….the Lord allowed us to see the man after God’s own heart, in a way that was raw, real, and redemptive. This is why a band of “outcasts” were so attracted to him. He had a warrior spirit with a heart of compassion. What we need in a leader.

I was raised by my maternal grandmother. She was a mighty intercessor, a warrior in prayer. Gramma moved to Heaven 24 years ago. I miss her physically but her prayer life continues in me. Glory to God. Thank you for your devotionals, ministry and obedience to the Lord. Merry Christmas!
