Nice layout, thanks for sharing. I've never had a problem with suitcase connectors loosening. Yes, I use them on modules, some going on 15 years. If someone has a fault I'd guess they were not properly connected. I've seen not cold solder joints fail than suitcase connectors.

The suitcase, connector issues, pertain, mostly towards transported layouts as they’re more likely to vibrate and loosen connections overtime. In my case, however I can’t take the chance, so I have to use something that is more reliable.

I'd love to have that layout then build off of it for what I have planned. First thing I'd do is rip out every one of those suitcase connectors. I hate those things.
