Godowsky recorded only one piece from his Java Suite. It was In the Gardens of Buitenzorg.

Godowsky referred to him as "the Butcher". Another example of Gowdowsky's humorous dislike of Saperton is the dedication to him of his transcription of the Schubert Song Die Junge Nun or The Young "None". The revised versions were all published with a new dedication to Joseph Hofmann.

bizarre i never heard this piece . Superb. Sometimes i think Saperton's technique could be cleaner, but great all the same
