The trick is to vote in candidates from all the minor conservative parties, in areas where they have candidates, (DNZ, NZ Loyal, NC's, Vision, etc etc), and then vote for the party that is most likely to oust Labour. This way, we may get a National/Act government, but we would also get a huge number of 'freedom based' MP's, who would possibly take in more MP's with them. They would be ones that hold National/Acts feet to the fire, and they all have basically the same policies and goals.

The number of people who split their vote and openly said so was incredible "I voted for *National Candidate* but have my party vote to Labour. Particularly young white women. What a bizzare interview. I was considering switching from National to ACT, but I've never seen this side of Seymour. He sounds really insecure, and he's giving the left-wing media everything they need to scare the public into thinking the coalition of chaos would really be in a National-led govt that might need ACT and NZF. Glad you slapped him back down, Sean. I'm as pissed off as everyone else about what Winston did to us in 2017. National won that election and it was absurd to have the largest party in parliament sitting in opposition. That being said, Seymour is being blatantly disrespectful to both Sean and Winston here - in a way we simply don't see here in NZ. Nip this crap in the bud asap. Winston will react to this, and then it will be tit-for-tat between NZF and ACT in the immediate lead up to the most bloody important election in NZs history. The polling for NZF is very similar to last election. Even if a few did get in, they will be new-by MP's. We need serious people with relevant experience, to reverse the directions that Labour & co. are currently trying to entrench. A wobbly 3-legged Coalition will just waste valuable time and taxpayer money.
